Policies

Reservations: Equipment will be reserved upon receipt of a signed rental contract and a 50% deposit of the contract total. Final payment and quantities are due ten (10) days before the date out. Additions can be made after that date if items are available in our inventory. Canceled Items within 10 days of the date out will be charged 100% for the rental item.
Rates: Skyline Party Rentals price list is for one day rentals. Multiple day rentals can be determined by calling our office. Charges and rates are for time out, not time of use.
Delivery is available and will vary based on location and equipment rented. Quoted delivery rates are for first floor delivery and pickup. Set up and tear down service is available for an additional cost if scheduled prior to the delivery date.
Weather: CLIENT understands that tents are temporary structures designed to provide limited protection from weather conditions, primarily sun and rain. Situations involving very strong winds and lightning, People should leave the tents and not seek shelter in tents during such conditions. Skyline Party Rentals will make the services of one of its staff available on site during the event for an additional charge to assist with weather assessment and evacuation if necessary. The renter should become thoroughly familiar with evacuation procedures whether or not they decide to retain the services of a Skyline Party Rentals staff member for the event.
Installation: Erecting a tent on an asphalt surface is a routine operation requiring that we drive iron stakes approximately 3ft. long and 1in. in diameter through the surface. If holes in asphalt need to be filled, Skyline Party Rental will fill them for an additional fee. Concrete Anchors and weights are viable options when staking is not an option. Water barrels are also an alternative that can be used at client's risk.
Permits: Permits are required for certain events. Please Check with Building, Zoning and Fire Departments prior to the installation date to confirm the requirement of permits. See the Permits page to see what local cities require permits for tented events.
Site Preparation: Please have the site ready, lawns mowed, furniture moved, vehicles moved, etc… before the crew is scheduled to arrive. Installation of a tent must be done correctly for the protection of the users, the tent, and the Equipment. There must ensure that there is a 5 feet clearance all the way around the tent to allow for securing the tent. Tent may be secured by stakes, concrete weights and water barrels. The renter should mark all private sprinklers, water lines, gas lines, and all other utilities located. Prior to the installation of any structure that will be anchored with stakes, the Ohio Utilities Protection Service Will be Called to mark your property for water, gas, electric, sanitary and communication lines.
Take Down/CLIENT drop off: Please have personal items out of the tent on the scheduled pickup date. All rented tables and chairs should be cleaned, secured and stacked inside the tent.
Loss and Damage: Responsibility for Tents and Equipment remains with the renter from time out until return. Equipment should be secured and protected from weather when not in use. Skyline Party Rentals does its best to protect your property during the delivery, installation and removal process
Damage Waiver: A 10% Limited Damage Waiver is automatically included on all orders. This is optional but we may require that Skyline be listed as additionally insured on your policy. The damage waiver does not cover Malicious damage or missing equipment. Example: Cigarette Holes and pen marks will not be covered under the damage waiver
Cancellations: As soon as we reserve an order, other orders may be turned away to honor our commitment to your reservation. You may cancel your reservation anytime under the following conditions. Any cancellation prior to thirty five (35) days of the date out, will be charged 25% of the total rental order. Any cancellation received between thirty five (35) days and ten (10) days of the date out will be charged 50% of the total rental order as a restocking fee. Final quantities and payment are due in full ten (10) days prior to the date out. Any Cancellation received within ten (10) days of the date out or on site, will be charged 100% of rental rate plus delivery fee. Down payments are non-refundable. Permits are nonrefundable. Delivery is nonrefundable.
